Brief description of Ilse Haider´s work:

Ilse Haider combines the mediums photography and sculpture in her work. In her color Q-tip pieces
painting techniques can also be found. She uses ambivalent - ironic motifs of the "golden 50s" in
these pieces, while her work with wicker involves figures from ancient Greece for the many-layered
diffuse effects. Along with objects in large and small formats the artist has developed minimalist
pieces which contrast with traditional concepts of art.
