Guangyun beobachtet mit scharfem Blick unsere gesellschaftliche Realität. Er tut dies ohne zu werten, geradezu unbekümmert. Diese Haltung verhilft ihm, präzise Aussagen von hoher künstlerischer Verdichtung zu treffen. In these works Liu Gunagyun uses photos of faces that follow the artificial norms of the advertising world. With help of plastic surgery they become faces far away from real identity. Gunagyun keeps a sharp eye on our social reality. He does so without valueing, almost carefree. This attitude helps him to make precise statements of high artistic density.
